Fig. 5.4Thirty-five-year-old male affected by MEN1 syndrome; the patient was referred to Octreoscan for staging and lesion characterization, due to Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Anterior planar (a, e) and SPECT/CT axial, sagittal and coronal (b–d and f–h) images revealed a lesion in the duodenum (yellow arrows) and peripancreatic lymph node metastasis (red arrows) from gastrinoma. The patient underwent duodenum-cefalo-pancreatectomy. Two years later the patient repeated the Octreoscan that showed a new para-aortic lymph node metastasis (white arrows) on the anterior planar (i) and SPECT/CT axial, sagittal and coronal (j–l) images
